We visited La Spezia on Allure of the Seas this month. There is a required free port shuttle to the port terminal at the port entrance. We visited Cinque Terre and elected to walk two blocks from the port entrance to the bus stop then transfer onto the train. Alternatively, taxis were available when we arrived there. When we returned we paid the set fee of 15 Euros for a taxi from La Spezia train station to the port entrance.

Everything was very efficient. There was also a very helpful staff of two locals at a desk providing tourist information inside the port terminal.

You will see the official train timetables by visiting the Trenitalia website.
