jfkny Posted June 10, 2015 #1 Share Posted June 10, 2015 Hoping someone has a positive answer for us. Bought two cruise certificates on the Breakaway last week, and after unpacking can't find the envelope they were in. Will NCL replace them? If so who should I call?So upset over this. triptolemus Posted June 10, 2015 #2 Share Posted June 10, 2015 Create or log into your My NCL account. They will appear there.
Mr and Mrs C Posted June 10, 2015 #3 Share Posted June 10, 2015 I've never needed mine. Ncl has record of them.
DMH15 Posted June 10, 2015 #4 Share Posted June 10, 2015 Absolutely. You do not need the actual certificate. They will be recorded wirh NCL. It would not hurt to hold onto a printout of your shipboard account where you bought them. Just as backup.
jfkny Posted June 10, 2015 Author #5 Share Posted June 10, 2015 Thank you everyone. I feel much better. One more stupid question however ... Signed on to My NCL Account and can't find the certificates listed. Where should I be looking ? Sorry to be such a bother.
ncklhaus Posted June 10, 2015 #6 Share Posted June 10, 2015 They should show up in the my account tab, but it generally takes about a week to show up. At least in my experience.

hateswaterloves2cruise Posted June 10, 2015 #9 Share Posted June 10, 2015 They've always been connected to your Latitudes number as well. Never needed the actual certificate.

As others said they should show up on the first page that appears when you log into your account. If you have other cruises booked you will see "My Cruise Rewards & Welcome Back Rewards" directly below the last booked cruise. If you do not have other cruises booked - they should be visible as soon as you are logged in. HTH
nyc12345 Posted June 10, 2015 #11 Share Posted June 10, 2015 I have a certificate too, but can't see it on NCL's website. It's been more than a week since I got it. My TA verified that I do have one though...
roe2ship Posted June 10, 2015 #12 Share Posted June 10, 2015 When you purchase certificates, do you need to choose a specific ship and date or can you leave it as an open booking? Can you make any changes and are there any expiration dates with them? Thanks!

Can you make any changes and are there any expiration dates with them? Thanks! You do not have to specify anything. They expire 4 years from the date of purchase. When you decide on a cruise, just tell NCL or your TA that you want to use a certificate for your down payment (if you are booking a suite, additional funds may be required in addition to the certificate).
