jonj Posted June 11, 2015 #1 Share Posted June 11, 2015 The cruise we will be on next year (Anthem of the Seas) will stop in San Juan however it is a short day with the ashore time being 7am-1pm Is it feasible to take a tour going to the Rainforest and then maybe walking a bit around Old San Juan during that time? Any tours or drivers, other than the ship ones, that anyone can recommend? Thank you
LiveToCruise99 Posted June 11, 2015 #2 Share Posted June 11, 2015 Old San Juan is beautiful. Personally I would leave the rainforest until another time and spend the short time available walking around. The wonderful part is you will be docked right in town (at least I believe you will be) and you can walk off the ship and start exploring.
dividedsky Posted June 11, 2015 #3 Share Posted June 11, 2015 When we were on the Indy last year with a similar time frame we did one of the tours through RCI. It was the hoseback riding tour through the rainforest which was a really fun time. We got back to OSJ with about an an hour and a half to walk around and shop. So we made the most of our time there in port.
jonj Posted June 11, 2015 Author #4 Share Posted June 11, 2015 Thank you - we have some young adults in our party that really want to do the Rainforest. We may send them off with an RCL excursion and the rest of us just walk around Old San Juan If we all do the rainforest any tour companies that are recommended?
