I'm sure a big chunk of that is the currency exchange. The Canadian dollar has dropped at least 20% since those rates from last year were first calculated.

 

Our cruise for 2016 is a lot more too.

I just made Donairs at home a few weeks back....Lived at Venus Pizza across from the base.....They came out pretty good..not exact..but good enough to make again!!

YIKES! A verandah package for $2599 pp? That's a HUGE increase from last year - booking on board to get the bev pack, your own hotel and air you're still $500 to the good....

We have done 2 packages from Hamilton in 2014 and 2015. Very pleased with both cruises. There were some problems on the past cruise in February but we were pleased overall with the package.

When we were on the last cruise we booked another for next year out of Hamilton. The agent told us that the packages were not finalized at that time bust we could be added to it when it become available.

With that booking we received 450 shipboard credit plus the drink package and pre paid gratuities.

Now these perks would be the same if we booked the package but we would only get 150 shipboard credit.

When I seen the prices of the next package it was 3302 more than what we paid for by pre booking. All the staterooms were Aqua and in Canadian dollars. Love the convenience of flying out of Hamilton but unwilling to pay $3302 more to do it.
