WOW!!! What a difference! Trip Report - Oasis of the Seas 6/6

Great trip report!! We are going on the Oasis in 2 weeks from today!!! I can't wait!! It will be my hubby and I, a surprised anniversary cruise from him to me (yes, he told me early so I can plan and prepare), our best friend (It will be their anniversary too), their 2 grown sons and another good friend of ours and her sister. Our good friend is a travel agent, so she booked it for us and preplanned and reserved everything for us. So there are 2 formal nights? How dress up do the guys have to be? How dressy are the women? Not sure I want to bring 2 long formal gowns. I have a short white dress, but it's more of something I would wear to a casino in Vegas then a formal night.

 

Also I'm jealous you are going on the Disney Dream! I think we will be doing that in the next 2 years. We went on 3 Disney cruises when I kids were younger. Now that they are older, guess what, they want another Disney cruise/vacation and so do I!

Dinner tonight was at Izumi Hibachi.

 



 

 

 

Just wondering if the smell of the hibachi stayed with you for the night? I know that here locally if you eat at a hibachi restaurant that when you leave that smell stays on your clothes. Wondering if on a ship ventilation is better somehow?

I think we smelled like hibachi all night. I think that is par for the course when eating at a hibachi restaurant.
