If NCL contacts me, or I contact them about an up-sale will I lose my free beverage perk I received when I originally booked my cruise?:D

It depends. If they offer an upsell to you, the you usually won't lose anything in the original booking, but if you contact them to do any changes, it can mean cancelling and rebooking.

 

So in both cases better safe than sorry and ask before committing.
