News On Board

Is there anywhere on board to get current news? I'm a huge political junkie anxiously waiting some Supreme Court decisions. I'm sailing on the Valor 6/27-7/4, which is the last week of the courts usual session so the big cases are released then. I don't want to pay for internet on board but if I have to, then oh well.

Your stateroom tv will have all of the Miami affiliated broadcast networks, as well as CNN International.

Another option is to use the free wifi in ports. Crew members can tell you the best places to find free wifi in port.

They used to have a condensed newspaper available which was nice but that went away some years ago.

Was nice to read over a cup of coffee but oh well.

They went away with the advent of onboard TV with CNN and network news. It is current and more detailed.

Have to disagree. For years they had both. Was nice to have a place to read news in a very concise format.
