I have E731 for our New Years cruise on the Caribbean Princess. It happens to be the AD cat that cruisinpooh took pictures of at the open house lunch.

I can't wait icon_biggrin.gificon_biggrin.gif

Thanks everyone. My travel agent & I have both called Princess and asked about the size of the balcony for E730 & 731. We both were told that is the same size as all the other mini-suite balcony's and that there is no extension. But it sure looks like it in the picture's I've seen. I think I'm going to switch rooms and hope that Princess reps are wrong.

Thanks!

Sonya

E730 & E731 both have double the size of balcony than the other mini-suites. In Oct of last year, I had the room next door....and was MUCH jealous! This year...9/4...I have E730!

There's even room for a lounge chair!

In Cruizinpooh's photos, if you notice the pictures she took of the outside aft. The lowest deck with six rooms in a row. You can definitely tell there's a big difference in the balcony.

Wow! You guys did pay attention! I took those pictures specifically for everyone to be able to zoom into those E cabins.

DERRSONY- I was onboard during the industry luncheon and took several pictures of E731. The balcony is larger than the other Mini-Suite balconies. Take a look at the pictures I took.

Enjoy!

The reps are wrong. Both E730 and E731 have very large covered balconies. I'll be in E730 on 5/15/04.

We're sailing in June and have a mini-suite on Dolphin deck. After reading the posts about E730 & E731, called Princess and was advised that while they are covered balconies, the cabins are smaller than those on Dolphin! So I opted to stay on Dolphin. Anybody know anything about this?? icon_confused.gif

I can't believe Princess told you that. It's soooooo untrue. I have seen them for myself. And Cruzinpooh has photographs to prove it. They are almost twice the size. I'm sure you spoke with someone at Princess that is not "really" familiar with the ship. If you look at the deck plans provided by princess, they do look the same size, but trust us...they're not.

My suggestion is to get either of those two rooms if they are available...you won't be disappointed.

My travel agent was told the same thing. That the room & balcony are small then the other mini-suites on the dolphin deck. But looking at Cruzinpooh's pics I don't believe the reps are right. So I've switched my room to E730.

Thanks everyone for your help!

You see what I've started! With my luck, Princess will kick me out of my E731!

It seems that now everyone wants them. Previously everyone had a thing for C752 & C753, now we all want to kick it up a notch and get that Mini-Suite.

Enjoy! Life is cruising...

I did read the post, we're in E730 yikes icon_eek.gif. I'm hoping my stereo doesn't bother the Club Fusion crowd LOL. Sonya - Let me know what you think. Looks good to me location wise, extra balcony and shade. I've been below the pool, below the buffet area above the casino and so far never had a noise problem.
