Any time (family) dining

Hi all,

We've booked a cruise for July and have extended family staying in multiple staterooms. Everyone has selected Any time dining (as we have a diabetic, a 4 year old, and my hubby can get hangry.)

There are 7 of us, what are the chances that we can all be seated at one table if we arrive together?

Any advise on how to make this happen would be very welcomed.

Thanks!

At the worst, you may have to wait a little longer for a table. They will either seat you at a large table, or if that is not available, would pull together two 4-person tables to accommodate you. We did anytime dining our last cruise, and there always seemed to be a lot of tables available.

If it's like my Princess trip.... My advice is to find out when they start the first meal and have your party arrive 20 minutes early at the door. This makes it easier for the ship staff to arrange tables for your large group.

Easier with assigned dining with large parties. Add in food issues, age and medical, it's a no brainier.

Many times there can be no wait, at others the wait can be long. Depends on the time you go and when everyone else goes.

We have sailed with friends multiple times and there is normally 8-9 of us and we always use the ATD and sit together for every dinner no problem. You may have to wait a couple of the nights (especially formal night we have found), but normally no more then 5-10 minutes;)

There were 8 of us this week in separate rooms. We used anytime dinning for the 1st time and had no issues at all. We all ate together every night and never waited more than a few minutes. Of course we tried to be down there by 5:45 at night, but once it was after 7 and still no wait.
