Cabin on the Breakaway

Recommended Posts

We are staying in balcony stateroom 10886, category BD. Has anyone stayed in that room, or close to it, that can give me any insight, good bad location and so on. If it turns out to be a bad location can I contact cruise consultant and change location without losing any perks? :D

This is a mid aft starboard cabin with an average sized balcony. It is very convenient to the aft elevators and stairs. You may feel some vibration from the engines particularly when the ship is moving fast on a sea day or when it is coming into port. Other than that, it should be an excellent cabin.

If you wish to change to a cabin that is midship or forward, do ask your CC first if you will lose your perks and/or OBC and then decide if the change is worth it.

10886 is in a good location. If you wanted a bit of a bigger balcony, 10876 has one. It's on an angle.

We were in 10276 (same as 10876 but port side) last year. Fantastic location, right by the stairs and elevators and no narrow hallway to walk through. Very convenient to go up to the Garden Cafe, pool or down to the Waterfront, bars and dining. Loved our angled balcony very much!

Try calling your PCC to see if it would work for you without losing any perks first!

Have a great cruise.

Thank you all so much for your assurance of a nice cabin location. My wife picked it out, we kinda new what it was close to, and I knew she made a good decision deck layout wise but was glad to hear that there would be minimal vibrations from the engines.:D
