wampuscat7 Posted June 30, 2015 #1 Share Posted June 30, 2015 Has anyone with a toddler less than 2 years old taken them to Camp Ocean? I read that Carnival offers limited hours in the mornings and on port days when you can drop off an under-2 year old. And that they'll take under-2 year olds at Night Owls. (https://help.carnival.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/1077) I know the Royal Tots and Royal Nursery program keeps children 3 and under separated from the other children. That doesn't seem to be the case with Camp Ocean. Just wondering if anyone had any real-life experience. TIA!
katiedidthat Posted June 30, 2015 #2 Share Posted June 30, 2015 We took our son to the morning play time and the night owls when he was 13 months. Morning play time was just 2 hours on sea days, they spread a bunch of toys in the 2-5 yr room and we played with our son. It was nice but we wished it had been later in the day. Our son usually sleeps til 930 at home and we felt like we had to wake him so he could get some use out of the kids club. Night owls he was always in with the youngest group, watching movies and playing with the toys. He fell asleep one night in his stroller at a show and we pushed him into camp and they left him sleep in it until we came back. We'll be taking our 22 month old again in December. wampuscat7 Posted July 2, 2015 Author #3 Share Posted July 2, 2015 Thank you for the info! Our DD would be 18 months(ish) if we decide to go this fall. I think having the option to any time to ourselves is nice.
