Bars on Breakaway

So I am not redundant in my question - is there a link that has already been started or posted regarding the best bars to go to on the Breakaway? Best drink makers, most seating, quietest - those types of questions/

We will be going on the August 9th cruise and have the UBP - not big drinkers by any means. I like tooty-fruit - hubby likes beer and gin.

We were on the Breakaway last summer and didn't even pay attention to where the bars were located.

Thank you

There are bars all over the ship. We were on the Breakaway and managed to get a drink at all but one. Here are the ones I can remember:

Deck 17 - sun deck bar.

Deck 16 - Uptown Bar and Grill (BTW - really good burgers here!) and the bar at Spice H2O

Deck 15 - Waves Pool Bar

Deck 8 - Maltings Beer and Whiskey Bar, Shaker's Cocktail Bar (my favorite - great martini's), and Prime Meridian Bar (the only one we didn't get to)

Deck 7 - O'Sheehan's (overlooking the atrium),Bliss Lounge and Bar 21, near the casino

Deck 6 - Cafe Bar at the atrium and Mixx Bar (between Savor and Taste - extremely crowded here before and during dinner hours)

You can also get drinks while dining and in the Breakaway theater before shows. And when you are by the pool or on the sun decks, there are always servers walking around to take drink orders.

The ice bar is a cool thing if you have never done one before. It's $20.00 per person (even if you have the drink package) and you get two drinks inside.

Sorry - just noticed the second part of your question. IMO - the bartenders at Shakers seemed to be the nicest. We had trouble getting service at Mixx on several nights, because it gets so crowded. It's also very crowded and noisy in the bars areas surrounding the atrium and casino. The quietest bar was Maltings. Also, forgot to mention that Shaker's extends outside to the Waterfront area. So cool to sit outside there in the evening!

We will be on that cruise also (did you join the roll call and M&G?), and plan on hitting EVERY bar at least once since we have the UBP:). We will probably be at Malting's a lot, mostly because DH is a cigar smoker and the cigar bar is next door. DH has full beard- Santa Claus looking- find us and say "Hi"

Safe sailing

We spent a lot of time at Shakers. We did the Martini Flight (I believe that is what it is called), it is 6 samples of martinis that were pretty good. This is not part of the UBP but well worth the $15. They had some nightly entertainment that was good there to. Also liked the sitting areas around the bar, nice comfy seating. I agree they are some of the nicest bartenders on the ship. We also liked the bartenders at H20, they were a hoot at the Glow Party that we were lucky enough to sit at the bar for.

Also did the Ice Bar and that was neat to try, the drinks were good but strong!

We did grab a drink a few times and make our way outside to the waterfront. One side was busier than the other, I believe it was the side where Tradewinds entrance was and were able to grab a nice seat to look out onto the water. Watched a nice thunderstorm off to the side as we sailed our last night into Bermuda.
