moonbmn53 Posted July 7, 2015 #1 Share Posted July 7, 2015 We are booked on the Carnival Splendor in Cabin 8206 which is an interior cabin and looks like it is right next to the Bridge. Anyone have any info on that cabin or a similar one on any other ship? Can you hear any Bridge noise?
Remus2010 Posted July 7, 2015 #2 Share Posted July 7, 2015 We had 8202, which is the balcony next to the part of the bridge that sticks out. We didn't hear any noise from that side. Was fun to sit out on the balcony in the morning with our coffee and have the captain come over to the window and wave good morning every day. We love being up front. Plus it's more exercise having to walk to and from that front end.
mbalmr71 Posted July 7, 2015 #3 Share Posted July 7, 2015 Not sure about the cabin but I have been on the bridge of several ships including cruise ships and on Carnival I can tell you the bridge is probably the quietest place on the ship. Most of the time you have only 2 officers and a helmsman on the bridge unless the ship is entering or leaving port. I would not worry about noise at all. Remus2010 Posted July 7, 2015 #4 Share Posted July 7, 2015 Also want to add we love being right up by the (not so secret) door to watch the boat pull in and out of each port. And for some nice sunsets.

Hope that holds true for our cabin on the Conquest. We will be in 9201 which is one of the GRAND scenic view cabins directly over the bridge.
