KaaaaaBoom Posted September 19, 2005 #1 Share Posted September 19, 2005 Hello, Does anyone know about the life boat drill time, first seating dinner time, second seating dinner time, when the ship sets sail at 7 PM ? Just curious if they adjust the times of dinner, or the life boat drill time. Any and all replies will be helpful. Thanks, Boomer.
CaptData Posted September 19, 2005 #2 Share Posted September 19, 2005 Boomer, you do not say which ship nor itin so I will hazard here a little. Lifeboat drill will be around 6:00 PM boarding day. Supper first seating will be about 6:30-6:45. Late dinner will be 8:30-8:45.
ahoymatey3 Posted September 19, 2005 #3 Share Posted September 19, 2005 I was wondering about this also. I'll be on the 11/18/05 Millinnium transatlantic, which has a 7PM departure.
KaaaaaBoom Posted September 19, 2005 Author #4 Share Posted September 19, 2005 Sorry about that CaptData, It is on the Connie sailing from New Jersey to the Caribbean. I was just curious how they would handle the drill and first seating dinner time . Thank You. Boomer
hfeld Posted September 19, 2005 #5 Share Posted September 19, 2005 We will also be sailing at 6 p.m. from Galveston after having traveled since 8 a.m. Muster is usually about sail away so how is dinner going to be served? I'm hungry already.
SmokinJoe Posted September 20, 2005 #6 Share Posted September 20, 2005 I am not sure if they change the times of the dinner seatings. The emergency drill might be earlier so the 6pm dinner seating can start on time. Joe
KaaaaaBoom Posted September 22, 2005 Author #7 Share Posted September 22, 2005 Has anyone taken a cruise, any cruise that embarked at 7PM? If so, did they have the normal first and second dinner seating times, or were they adjusted? Boomer
SmokinJoe Posted September 23, 2005 #8 Share Posted September 23, 2005 I guess no one has the answer to this one. Has anyone ever left on a cruise at 7pm before? How did they manage the dinner times? Kept the same? or adjusted?
