I may be wrong, but if you don't mind missing a bit of time onboard you may want to hold off until 1.5 hrs before you must be onboard. At that time the bulk of the passengers should be onboard enjoying lunch and libations and you may not have to wait to go to your stateroom. Granted every embarkation is different but that's my best bet to abound the long lines, or you can book a suite
