mlbcruiser Posted April 10, 2004 #1 Share Posted April 10, 2004 Sailing on the Tahitian Princess on a budget. Anyone had experience staying in an obstucted view cabin? Any noices or lifeboat "activity" that is very disruptive? Also, what is located across from the obstructed cabins? (Can't tell from layout on brochure.) Does much light still get in & can you see around the lifeboats somewhat at ALL? And re: the cabins on deck 7 next to the laundromats - is noise from the laundry a problem? I'd really appreciate input from anyone who has stayed in these types of cabins. Thanks!
starsjohn Posted April 10, 2004 #2 Share Posted April 10, 2004 I have been across from the laundry some three trips and never any noise or inconvience. Its a great location so I can get up early and use the machines or check quickly to see if in use. John
sneekpeek Posted April 10, 2004 #3 Share Posted April 10, 2004 We had an obstructed ouside cabin last week and only about 20% of the window was obstructed by the lifeboats. No noise. We were about 10 feet from the laundry room and no noise there either. It was nice having the laundry room so close because there is only one on each deck. cruiserw/kids Posted April 10, 2004 #4 Share Posted April 10, 2004 I agree with the above. Being near the Laundry Room should be considered a plus. We have found that we now pack less knowing we can do laundry almost anytime we choose. We also go home with a very small bag of laundry. Makes coming home that much easier. Three stays next to the laundry on three different ships and never a problem with Laundry or human noises. Enjoy!
