I heard that when you reserve at the Steakhouse for the first or second night you get a complimentary bottle of wine? Is this true? If so or not have anyone experienced this?

We got our free bottle the first night on the miracle. Keep in mind, you get what you pay for ;)

Yes, it's offered both nights. But drink it fast. The expiration date is midnight.

On our January cruise out of Galveston we did indeed get a free bottle for booking the steakhouse on the first evening.

 

But, as previously stated, you get what you pay for:D

Technically, it is not. The proper wording should be first evening AND first formal evening. However, since the first formal night on a majority of cruises is the second night, people just say "the second night".

Yes, its true. But its a very poor quality and tastes like it was squeezed from sweaty socks.

 

But its free so people clamor for it like it was turned from water by Jesus himself.

As stated, free bottle on the first night and first elegant night, which is usually night 2.

 

Since many seem to think it is bad wine, I have heard you can instead get a 50% discount on any other bottle, so if you don't like the free one, order one you like at a discount.
