HazelSmrf Posted September 19, 2005 #1 Share Posted September 19, 2005 Does anyone have a list of the wines they offer in the dining room? I'm guessing it would be the same fleetwide, but I'll be on the Valor if that makes a difference.

kelz66 Posted September 20, 2005 #4 Share Posted September 20, 2005 If you are a wine enthusiast, you may want to bring your own and pay the corkage(sp) fee. You will save money and enjoy exactly what you want. If you do not finish your bottle they will save it a nd store it untill the next night. Also if the matre'd is smart he will waive the corkage (sp) fee in lieu of a bigger tip ...LOL ours did!
bphman Posted September 20, 2005 #5 Share Posted September 20, 2005 I actually found the wine list to be one of, if not the best at sea of the major cruiselines. The mark-up is much less that that at a stateside restaurant and reasonable on the more expensive labels. Also, don't miss the food and wine pairings. It was $15 and very informative. It can help one pick the right wine for what you are eating. What I really miss on Carnival that we had on Celebrity was the Sommelier who can be very helpful. Personally, I can't be bothered packing wine unless you have a very special one.
