Dream has better ports. I think Triumph is a better ship. It has all the 2.0 upgrades, great food and great crew. Dream, was much larger, food was mediocre at best, and the staff weren't as friendly. If ports are more important, go with Dream. If ship is more important, I would go with Triumph. However, if you have kids, go with Dream since it has the Waterpark for them.

I love the Triumph, but unless you are taking one of the 10/11 day trips, the Dream has better ports.

I enjoyed both ships, so it's hard to say. I don't think you'll go wrong with either ship, so perhaps you should decide based on itinerary.

I would rather sail newer ships if they were equal in price,

but I would look at bottom line numbers-Adding in transportation costs.

We would rather do a No Fly cruise though. Thats means NYC for us.

If I was making a decision I would go with the Dream.

Having been on the Triumph several times (after the repairs / refurb) I would not say that we were too impressed with the ship.

Done both. Got a kid so water park trumps. Personally I prefer smaller ships though.
