Harvey2008 Posted July 20, 2015 #1 Share Posted July 20, 2015 Does anyone just got off the ship and buy a tour at the port? If so, do you recommend it? Roundabouts how much? Thank you!
bonvoyagebites Posted July 21, 2015 #2 Share Posted July 21, 2015 We were there in 2012, and just rented a car for the day so we could explore on our own. It was a lot of fun, and we saw some really great things while there.... we went to the fortress on one end of the island, as well as Reggae Beach bar on the other end... with a snorkel stop or two on our own as well. http://bonvoyagebites.com/2015/07/carnival-victory-daysail-and-snorkeling-in-st-thomas-st-john-and-st-kitts/ The last two shots on this one (the sea turtle and probably the blue fish) were St. Kitts, not far from Reggae beach bar

toes_in_sand Posted July 31, 2015 #4 Share Posted July 31, 2015 We have done many tours in the past. The port is changing how taxi/ drivers can connect with passengers, no more haggling or being bugged all the time asking if you want a taxi. We are going to be there in October and going to try a local food and walking tour this time around.
BBowCruiser Posted August 3, 2015 #5 Share Posted August 3, 2015 We booked Tangerine Tours online for $25 per person including rum punch, beer, Coke, and water. Our tour was about 4.5 hours including a beach stop. Our group of 24 had a great time!
LeeNHCruiser Posted August 16, 2015 #6 Share Posted August 16, 2015 We did and found a friend for life 😊 Look for Sugarland Tours Van. It has The Lion King on the front. You can find him online or Facebook. He's amazing! Reasonable and will tailor a tour to what you want. We do this on all the islands we go to, and Ian was especially memorable.
