Windy Days and the Beach

Hi Everyone,

 

My husband and I just returned from the beautiful Celebrity Summit and Bermuda. Just one note I wanted to share - on windy days, Horseshoe Bay will not rent out umbrellas. We were quite disappointed as we arrived and there is zero available shade on the beach. It honestly wasn't windy but I guess by Bermudian standards it was. We were unable to stay as my husband burns to a crisp in 5 minutes.

Same thing happened to me a few weeks ago both days. Your report confirms they seem to have a new standard of measuring wind. There was a very slight wind in my opinion. In past years they would rent umbrellas under those conditions. One of our party needed shade so we went to the coves to the left when facing the water where there are areas shaded by the rock formations.
