Disembarking in Barcelona

Recommended Posts

We are booked on the Epic r/t from Barcelona. We are trying to book a train to Paris on the day we disembark. The station is a 10 minute taxi ride from the port. The train I want book is at 9:30AM. We are in the Haven Suites and I believe we are permitted to disembark early? Is this correct and doable? The next train is not until 4:30PM. Thanks

Epic tends to be the first ship into port every Sunday and even though scheduled at 5AM is often in port by 3:45AM. While this is not directly related to the disembarkation time, it does mean that they have a 'head start'.

I would think a self disembark from 6:30 or earlier must be possible.

They send 20 taxis at a time over to each terminal and the wait should not be that great. As it is Sunday they will already be on the highest fare and they will add a small supplement for both the cruise port departure and for a train station destination.

You do have a secure departure area from the train station and do need to allow time for going through security with your luggage. I would be at the train station 45 minutes prior to departure.
