Marseille & Aix en Provence or St Tropez

Not sure which excursion to choose. My daughter would like to climb the 170 steps to the top of the Notre Dame de la Garde Basilica but I have not read many reviews on this. Just looking for some feedback on whats best to see in Toulon. Thanks!

This is what we did and it was AWESOME:

We were able to customize it and stop at a French market and later a pastry shop in Toulon, then from Cassis, we went to an olive oil factory where we could buy herbs de Provence in the little olive wood grinder and also olive oil and finally a wine tasting. It was a very full day, but just wonderful!

 

I got on our ship's roll call and was able to get a total of 7 people for this tour, which made the cost very reasonable.
