Carnival Magic funship 2.0 upgrade?

Magic Dry Dock 2/21/16-3/06/16

Guys burger

Blue cantina

Blue iguana tequila bar

Red frog rum bar

Pizzeria relocate

Deli relocate

Fat jimmys bar-b-que

Alchemy bar

 

 

So Magic will be getting all of these upgrades?? I can't wait!!! I have been on the Breeze and we loved all of these spots. The alchemy bar will be something new to me but I can't wait!!! My dh will be thrilled!!!!!!:D:D

So I guess this means the Indian food on the aft lido will get axed to make room for the deli? It will be interesting to see where they put Alchemy. My guess is the casino bar, although the piano bar does take up a lot of space on the Dream class ships so maybe there's room to squeeze it in there towards the aft.

My guess is that the Alchemy will go just forward of the piano bar, at the end of the promenade. That is the approximate location they put it on the Sunshine. It will be small, but it will be there.

Some of the articles cited might be talking about earlier dry dock's if you read the whole article and see the timetables.

I was looking into a cruise on the Magic today and although there may have not been an official announcement if you click on the dining options for the Magic it shows Guys and Blue Iguana and says "coming soon". So I am hoping its come true! I love both!

We were on the Freedom in Oct hanging out at the Alchemy bar & overheard the bartender say the Alchemy bar wont be added when The Magic goes to dry dock. It will be added April 18 & 19 while repositioning to Florida. I would think it would be better to do it during the 3 week dry dock then in 2 days. I hope that info I has changed because we will be on the Magic March 27 & would love an Alchemy Bar but the source was the head Alchemy bartender.

Why would the Indian place get axed?

 

The Deli would be inside like the Breeze no?

 

Tandoor is very popular with the ships crew and officers.

I went into carnival's main website and compared the Breeze with the Magic. They show "Coming Soon" for Magic for Guy's Burger Joint, BlueIguana Cantina, Fat Jimmy's C-Side BBQ, and Pizzeria del Capitano. Also, BlueIguana Tequila Bar, Alchemy Bar.

The deli on Magic is where the Pizza place is on Breeze. Hopefully they move the deli inside the lido restaurant and leave the Tandoor alone. I know Freedom lost the Tandoor when they added Guys and Blue Iguana, so I'm hoping that Magic doesn't lose it's Tandoor also.

I spoke with my PVP this morning and was told that they are absolutely adding Guy's as well as the mexican food place. I also saw a post from John H that confirmed it as well. Not sure where the information is coming from that they aren't adding the 2.0 upgrades...

Glad to hear this, the Blue Iguana became my favorite breakfast place on our last cruise (The Pride)

I can confirm this is 100% accurate. Plus Guys BBQ on sea days outside on deck 5 for lunch.

And the huevos rancheros at the Blue Iguana Cantina are the best! :D
