Paying for dinner reservations

Haven't been on here for a while. Just made my dinner reservations for the week of September 13th. I had to give my credit card info. Do they take payment right away? I have four dinners for two, two from platinum and two from casino. There doesn't seem to be another way to reserve. Hope someone can help me

They will take full payment now and it cannot refunded on the ship. You cannot pre- book if you expect to use the free certificates. You have to wait until you board.

When did that policy change? I booked for dining for my Feb. 2015 cruise and was refunded in the dining rooms.

Only a part of tables is available for pre-booking so one can just as well make the reservations right after boarding and get most likely exact times they are asking for.

 

I too haven't seen anything about pre-bookings being non-refundable onboard and that has been the secondary advise for anyone that insists to prebook but at the dinner use vouchers. Where is that coming from, conandrob240?

 

OP, Do you always give your credit card information to various sites without finding out what/when they are going to charge you? O_o

 

It says on the site when you make the reservations that your card is charged immediately.
