Decal on set sail pass for free royal fresh package

Recommended Posts

Can anyone who has used the buy an ultimate/get a refresh package deal and already sailed tell me if you get a sticker on your set sail pass for the refresh package?

Some of the confusing emails I've seen others post from Royal suggest you just get an extra cup - which would be inconvenient for times like dinner in the main dining room.

Thanks for your help!

When we've purchased a drink package before boarding, the logo is pre-printed on out card. When we purchased at the ship, we got the sticker. The stickers are pool-proof, never had one come loose.

Prior to, our cups were in the state-room, else we were given them at purchase. The chipped cups for the coke freestyle machine take some getting used to.

I am talking about specifically the Buy An Ultimate - Get a Refresh package free deal. One of the emails I saw seemed to indicate you just get a spare cup. I know you get one on a normal purchase, but thanks.

I just bought the same thing. I'm getting the ultimate for me, because I wanted the free refresh one for my daughter (she's 25 but doesn't drink). I wanted to be sure she would be able to get soda from the bar service, not just the freestyle machines. since there was no place to put that I wanted the free part to be on my daughters account, I called to find out.

They told me that I'll have the free cup in my room plus my daughters seapass card would already have the soda sticker - that they would assume the free part went to the other person who was in my cabin. Now, if there were more than just the two of us, I dont know what they would do then. We'll see, I guess.

I would be interested in finding out the same thing.... I am thinking of getting the ultimate package with the promotion, and if I can assign the refreshment package to my husband. He usually only has about 3 drinks/day while cruising and would rather go a la carte with the Diamond 3 nightly free drinks. Otherwise he mainly drinks only ginger ale or club soda throughout the day. An extra cup is not very practical for this so if he could have the soda sticker to use while at meals or the casino that's the only way this promotion would make sense. It's just us two in our booking so I would hope it could automatically be given to him.

On our cruise at the end of June on Oasis - if you signed up ahead of time OR on the first day when you boarded the ship you got a "free" extra refreshment package cup.

Only one person got the drink package sticker on their card but 2 cups that you could use at the refill machines.

You did not get a refreshment package sticker on a second sea pass card - just the one.

Hope that helps.

That's unfortunate. The second person would have to carry the cup around in order to get a soda. I wonder if Guest Services would put a sticker on the second person's SeaPass card if requested.

It was never a big deal for us because we were typically together most of the day and were rarely looking for a soda at the same time. So I could just use my card (with the sticker) to get one.

In fact - many times when I was ready for dinner ahead of time I would go to the Champagne bar and order 2 drinks so one would be ready for my wife when she arrived. I expected I would have to pay for one given only I had the drink package. But I never was charged for the second drink - ever (granted this was maybe 7 or so orders - but 100% is still 100%). Regardless of the bar and on Labadee. It was never that crowded - so I am not sure if the employees are just disregarding the policy or if the policy changed.

So if you will be with each other a high percentage of the time - it may not be an issue at all.

I should add that we are both diamond - so the scenario above could be the result of the diamond member free drinks too - I never cared enough to ask.
