kids1stcruise Posted July 27, 2015 #1 Share Posted July 27, 2015 Just returned yesterday.....the staff was so friendly and driving to get to Baltimore is an easy 3 hour drive. Guys burgers were definitely the BEST. Tacos and burritos also very good and the pizza at 1am was a hit. Drinks were great....tiramisu martini really good. MDR food was good some days better than others. Piano bar and red frog was fun. Comedy omg toooo funny. Shows .....I went to one and it was corny Newlywed game was funny. Of course the longest married couple stole the show lol. Serenity area quiet. We spent the 1st day back there but rest of the cruise moved to main pool....a lot of fun there. My sons had a great time and met great young people that that they hung out with the entire cruise. They had fun in the Disco, casino, deck dances, bars . Any thing you may want to know ask....if I can help I will👍🏻⚓️🎉☀️😂🍷🍴🍦

My son loved it and I was hoping he'd have a chance to enjoy it again.
jficco Posted July 27, 2015 #5 Share Posted July 27, 2015 Was Freeport one of the ports you visited? If so did you do any excursions there?
mare73 Posted July 27, 2015 #6 Share Posted July 27, 2015 Curious about your ports and what you did at each stop if you have Freeport, Half Moon Cay or Grand Turk. Thanks!
kids1stcruise Posted July 27, 2015 Author #7 Share Posted July 27, 2015 In Freeport we just walked around the straw market and went to señor frog! We were only there from 7-130. We had sooooo much fun at señor frog. My sons and 2 friends started the conga line with having to balance each other for 1 minute when their chairs were removed from under them. I was in a daiquiri chug...lost but came in 2 nd. It was so HOT, People that went to the beach said the water was great. I didn't feel we had enough time for the beach
kids1stcruise Posted July 27, 2015 Author #8 Share Posted July 27, 2015 No terrible vibrations . We sat at table 143 in the back of the MDR and no problems
jfried8 Posted July 27, 2015 #9 Share Posted July 27, 2015 Sounds like the vibrations have gotten better. How was parking at the port? Long lines? What time did you arrive? How was debarkation? Glad you had a ton of fun!
Barbluvstocruz Posted July 27, 2015 #10 Share Posted July 27, 2015 No terrible vibrations . We sat at table 143 in the back of the MDR and no problems That was our table too. We had a group of 13 and had both those tables in the back. We liked being out of the way. :)
kids1stcruise Posted July 27, 2015 Author #11 Share Posted July 27, 2015 We arrived about 10:40. Drove around to drop off luggage and proceeded to pay. There was about 3 lines maybe 3 deep each. No problems at all. Oh! Just FYI they don't take the Discover card but they take visa! We parked walked in and waited about 10 minutes at security. Omg! I had 3 12 packs of soda and they emptied each one to make sure it was soda😬 then taped it back up! Geez good thing it wassoda😅 Check in really quick I think we were on board by 12:10👍🏻
kids1stcruise Posted July 27, 2015 Author #12 Share Posted July 27, 2015 If you need anything at guest services do it before muster drill. There's a huge line after that's over! They were so friendly at the guest services. Maitre 'd is only at MDR before the drill otherwise at 6 when dinner starts. I did see 2 men get told no shorts on formal night. We have been on the Pride about 5 years ago and are looking forward to the upgrades...... Plus NOT having to fly. Which nights were the formal nights? kids1stcruise Posted July 28, 2015 Author #19 Share Posted July 28, 2015 I think self assist began around 9am. Deck 6 self assist started first then 4, 5. I was on deck 5 did self assist BUT if we put our luggage out the night before we were zone20 which would have debarked at 10:50.
kids1stcruise Posted July 28, 2015 Author #20 Share Posted July 28, 2015 Oh, liquor pick up is 6:30 to 9 in the butterflies lounge the morning of debarkation. I went at 8:15 and no line. Walked up to the deck 5 table and they gave me the liquo. Easy. A lady did say she went at 6:30 and it was a zoo. So I would say youre better off going later than earlier. We last sailed the Pride in September 2011 and liquor was delivered to room on last night. Not big drinkers but we bought a large bottle of Kahlua then and it is still half full. Wonder if it's any good?
Piper934 Posted August 3, 2015 #24 Share Posted August 3, 2015 I was on this Cruise as well. Can help answer a couple questions. Welcome aboard was 730 Self assist started at 840 and I was in car at 905. Debarkation paperwork made it sound like it would be much later. Freeport I highly recommend western heritage and snorkel tour. Highly entertaining, good snorlkeing. I'd avoid all inclusive beach break in grand turk. Overpriced and not worth it.
