MrsBoo Posted September 21, 2005 #2 Share Posted September 21, 2005 There's something called "BOB", where your head is in a "bubble" & you ride around on a little underwater scooter. Check out the St. Thomas forum, where you should be able to find lots of reviews on it. Dh & kids did it last time we were there & loved it. Some people have a little trouble with the pressure in their ears, but overall a great excursion.
sea-jay Posted September 26, 2005 #3 Share Posted September 26, 2005 They also have a teathered snorkle/scuba trip. You have an air line to the surface and swim around within some limits at about the 20-25 foot deep level. This is the 'snuba' excursion. It gives you a similar experience as scuba but you don't have to do all the training. Additionally, you get a better look underwater than just snorkling. Here's a site for you to check out. http://www.snuba.com/
