Port of Galveston handicapped parking and cost?

We are sailing the Magic on November 29th and I'm trying to figure out where to park. I'm disabled and have a handicapped parking permit. Where is the best place to park? Does the Port of Galveston have handicapped parking spots? How much does it cost?

 

Our last cruise was 9 years ago and I wasn't disabled back then. It would be better if we could find close parking without having to use a shuttle if possible. Also, what time do you normally get to the terminal?
