Jade after Spring 2016

Jade is heading back to Houston on 29 October 2016 for the winter leaving the Epic on it's own in Europe for the winter 16/17 for now. The Star is heading for a winter out of Tampa and the Spirit is off to Port Canaveral for the winter 16/17.

 

That has been the plan for quite a while now.

Yes, but OPs question was about the fact that right now Jade is completely unavailable for booking in Dec 2016. In fact, there are several ships "grayed out" for Dec 2016: Jade, Spirit, Sun, Epic and Star. Maybe they are contemplating itinerary changes? Or maybe just a website glitch? Who knows...

The UK site is still showing the cruises, but they are not available for on-line booking at present. They are shown requiring callback or email enquiry!

 

This happens on the web site from time to time so could be a glitch, some huge deployment change or a big $/£/Euro currency rate change affecting the prices.

 

Not going to be a happy bunny if our October 1 2016 BTB from Venice to Barcelona is messed up. The Jade is still showing available on the first half of our BTB that is starting and ending in Venice so she should be in Venice on the 1st and 8th at least.

Try to book the TA for 29 Oct 2016 yesterday.

Once with the NCL person ,paid the deposit and it came up for Oct. 2015.

Then booked on line paid the deposit and came up in the email again for 2015.

Now I am waiting for 2 refunds on my credit card.

I am mad********. My plan ruined. Going over on the TA in April 2016.

Like to come back the same way.

We have a Haven room booked on the Jade TA from Barcelona (Oct 2016) for our honeymoon. This cruise has now disappeared from the website. I'm going to be crushed if they cancel this cruise.

...Just got cancellation notifications for "Norwegian Jade's" October 29th, 2016 transatlantic and "Norwegian Epic's" November 27th, 2016 Canary Islands cruise...

There are going to be a lot of itinerary changes for 2017...new zealand and australia are some of them..we just have to wait and see...this shows though that bookings for 2017 didnt come as planned for mr del rio

Interesting. The price protection offer and some obc sounds good, especially since I read on other thread that people who had their cruise canceled more than a year out simply got an I'm sorry but your cruise is canceled.

 

Very curious about the Epic now. I was so excited to book such a great deal, get a Haven Suite on 11 night sailing. Price was considerably less than other haven suites so I would not be able to afford a haven suite without the price protection.

 

Also interesting that they didn't offer you price protection on the new cruise same dates. Who knows they may have some great new itinarys.
