july72807 Posted August 2, 2015 #1 Share Posted August 2, 2015 Am I nuts to think we could do this with my two and four year old? Both are little fishes and we would go with their life jackets on. They are obsessed with turtles. I assume if they had goggles on and could swim atop the water they could see the turtles? For those who have done this or have researched this, what do you think? Also, is this an all day affair, or do you swim with the turtles and then still have time to go to a beach?
marys350 Posted August 3, 2015 #2 Share Posted August 3, 2015 In my opinion, toddlers are too young for swimming with the turtles if it is a catamaran excursion. I have done it a few times and there are usually several boats and lots of people swimming in the same area in deep water. It might be better to see if you can find a glass bottom boat trip to see the turtles or wait until they are older.
OCruisers Posted August 3, 2015 #3 Share Posted August 3, 2015 Not so sure yours would be able to meet the age limits on the turtle excursions thru the ship BUT you could check with some independents. ;)
july72807 Posted August 4, 2015 Author #4 Share Posted August 4, 2015 Through Carnival age restriction is 5. I don't want to do something that is not safe...
