SellN4U Posted August 3, 2015 #1 Share Posted August 3, 2015 DW, DS and I are selling the Magic next month for our 3rd time. We have booked the Cove balcony again, but are considering upgrading to deck 9 or 10 forward balcony cabin. However, I can't find anything on cabin size. We've cruised many other lines and usually they put the square footage of the cabins somewhere on the website. Any help would be appreciated. Miller_KC Posted August 3, 2015 #3 Share Posted August 3, 2015 The balcony rooms are generally all the same size even though higher decks cost more. Cove balconies seem to be just a little larger than regular balconies but at a little more closed in than the regular balconies. To get a bigger room you have to move up to a suite. SellN4U Posted August 3, 2015 Author #4 Share Posted August 3, 2015 Not willing to double my cost for larger room. Just trying to see if the upper balconies were any larger. Appears they are only 185 sf.
Taylors Posted August 3, 2015 #5 Share Posted August 3, 2015 from my research there is 10 more sqft of space on the balcony in a cove room. The interior of the room is the same size. So from my understanding you would actually loose some space by upgrading to a regular balcony.
SellN4U Posted August 6, 2015 Author #6 Share Posted August 6, 2015 Went ahead and switched to deck 9 for $160. Mainly to be closer to the Lido deck activities.
