Purchasing wine in ports

I have tried to find the answer to this but have had no success so hoping someone can help me out here.

If you purchase wine in a port and bring it on the ship do you have to turn it in or are you able to keep it to drink with dinner?

Thanks for your help!!

You can pick it up the last day. If sailing from Texas though you have to then pay your tax for it based completely on the honor system in the terminal

You can bring on one bottle of wine per person at embarkation that you get to keep and can drink it for free. However, if you take it to any of the restaurants, either the free or pay ones, they will charge you a $15 corking fee. We usually decant in our cabin and then take a glass to the DMR. No problems.
