Hello,

Congrats on the upgrade.........................

Personally though...6E on the Spa deck?..........Childrens playroom......Salon....Saunas and steam rooms.....and the Gymnasium? Seems like too much traffic to me, which i would assume be too much noise....but i have never stayed in this type of cabin.........just doesn't seem good to me...you hope i am wrong though...lololollllll

No drawbacks....if the Spa and Children's play room are on this deck, I would assume that any 'noise' would happen during the day when hopefully, you are out having a great time and not in your cabin :D

If you are a nap taker...bring some ear plugs...it can't hurt to have them.

I'd be very happy with that upgrade. Don't worry!!

We have just been upgraded from a Cat 5a on the Riviera deck to a Spa deck 6e is this the luck of the Irish or what....comments please..on noise drawbacks etc... thanks

There is about a dozen or so cabins on this deck.. The children's room is used for the smaller aged children mostly as the other age groups use some of the clubs during the day. The salon's entrance is like a waiting area so your not about to hear the clients getting thier services.

Your bed isn't going to be right up against the hair dryers or anything..

Each time I was on this deck I found it to be very peaceful.. In fact it wasn't until the last day that I realized there were cabins on this deck.

Also you won't have crazy drunk people or unsupervised children running up and down the halls unless you do it yourself....LOL

I think you got a great upgrade !

Floor to Ceiling and wall to wall windows...apparently there is the same space as if you had a balcony except that the glass slants down from where the cabin ends to the outside edge of the balcony...its quite big....cant wait......
