Travelers checks - casino

We're less than three weeks away from our trip on the Getaway!

 

I went to the AAA office on Saturday, spent $1.50 to purchase $300 in travelers checks, two packs of 3-$50 checks. My guess is the $500 packs are 5-$100 checks. The purchase was made with cash. Some posts asked about having casino cash so just thought I'd share.

 

No fee to cash aboard the ship, but AAA office was very clear to indicate local vendors may not accept them. Travelers to Mexico had issues and Caribbean is also problematic. I will have cash or credit card for my local purchases, so a non issue for me.
