lola4795 Posted August 12, 2015 #1 Share Posted August 12, 2015 We cruised on the Pearl a few years back and they had a latte/cappuccino machine at the back of the buffet. Do they have one of these on the Getaway?
JohnIreland Posted August 12, 2015 #2 Share Posted August 12, 2015 Those were removed from the ships many years ago.
TrumpyNor Posted August 12, 2015 #3 Share Posted August 12, 2015 Only place on most NCL ships where you can get a decent cappuccino or latte, is at the bar in the Atrium. And yes, you have to pay for it....

oracer Posted August 12, 2015 #5 Share Posted August 12, 2015 We tried the Atrium and at most of the specialty restaurants and all were just OK, nothing great. BUT, if you want a really good cup of coffee, go to Le Bistro (French specialty restaurant) where they serve their coffee with a French press maker. Best coffee on the ship by far and was free with your meal.

Best coffee on the ship by far and was free with your meal. The coffee is good in the Bistro. But the food was not very good. Lots of sauce and too much salt. So I would not pay to go there just for the coffee. Actually I like almost all of the restaurants on the ships except for a couple.
oracer Posted August 12, 2015 #7 Share Posted August 12, 2015 (edited) We found it to be the exact opposite. The food the night we were there was the best we had (very close to Cagney's). Desserts (chocolate fondue) was exceptional! Lobster (under our UDP was free) was excellent, a few ordered another for the $10 charge, but well worth it. I had the salmon, which was done perfectly (medium rare). Then having the coffee (press) with the desserts was icing on the cake.
