JFried - I'm bummed I never saw you scooting around! I was in the casino quite a bit, but usually at BlackJack. Got an offer for a free cruise. Going to see if I can use it to go with a friend early in 2016. We were also a little "eh" with the food this time. I enjoyed Guys, Pizza and Blue Iguana. Wish I could have tried the Steakhouse. We ate in the dining room most nights. I hope that you were able to enjoy everything despite the broken ankle!!! :)

For those wondering about the green slide..it was finally fixed mid-day on Wed (Port Canaveral Day). It was closed on Saturday due to high winds.

:) Barb

We got the free cruise from the casino on the May 10th cruise and it had to be booked by the end of May and used by the end of September

Yeh..I'm bummed. I've been working on this most of today. We have to use it by Dec 31. All the dates that work for me out of Baltimore are blacked out and I'm not sure I want to fly anywhere. I was planning to take a friend and keep it as cheap as possible for him. I really wanted to get another cruise booked! I love having a trip to look forward to!

Had a Vista Suite room 4237, absolutely amazing.

Only ate in the dining room twice....food was eh.

Weather was superb the entire trip, other than a morning in Freeport.

Did Chefs Table.....experience was incredible as was the food!

Ate in the Steakhouse two evenings. Beyond delicious.

Went to only one show, marriage show, hilarious.

Vibrations were apparent but didn't ruin the trip at all, in fact helped us sleep!

Alchemy bar....best bar on any ship!

Won big in the casino.

Overall great trip! We are pulling into Baltimore Harbor as I type.

Any questions????

Wondering if the serenity pool is as peaceful as they make it out to be...last carnival cruise couldn't get a pool chair the entire 7 days...this is my second cruise and would like to spend some time sunning as we will be at sea 3 days before hitting land....

I didn't venture out there much because I had 2 kids with me, but it certainly did look crowded. If you are an early riser you might not have any problem. I was out there on the Nassau morning and there was plenty of space. We didn't get off the ship until after lunchtime.

:) Enjoy!

Hard to find a lounger there as well. We had gorgeous weather on the sea days which hurt the chances as well. Regardless, phenomenal cruise!

I am so looking forward to it....only real challenge now is to Cheers program or to NOT cheers program...I don't think I will benifit but I know my DH will and both peeps in the cabin have to purchase. Thoughts?

No Cheers for me. I would never drink enough to make it worth it. Neither would my travel buddies so we go without. Has always worked well for us. Totally based on how much you guys will drink.

Well if we drink 6 a day we will be even...and anything over will be free....we will probably have a couple bloody marys at breakfast....then a couple in the after noon by the pool and I am sure a couple at dinner so I guess we are getting it...even with the port days...only one day we will be at port long enough to be off the boat any amount of time.

Jonathan, that was an awesome display---glad I saw it. Looks like you two had a great time. Here is our old fashioned picture album showing our joyful cruise -- but because of our different stages of life, our joy was mostly being able to watch it through our granddaughter's WIDE eyes! It was a pleasure meeting you.

Hi JFried!!!

Love your vid! You guys are a really cute couple! Cute pup too!

I've had a Pride Vista Suite before and have one for Dec cruise!

Can't wait! Love them!

Which one did you have?

How was the vibration?

Thanks for sharing!!

We had 4237 and while there was lots of vibration it didn't ruin the trip

4237... That's our cabin!

We have it -- and adjoining 4239!

And that's also how we felt about the vibration in 2013.

Just hoped it hadn't gotten much worse!

thx!
