Casino Bar - smoking changes?

One would hope so but it doesn't work out that way when there are lots of smokers on board. I never sit at the casino bar but when I cannot even walk past the casino without coughing and gagging then it's a problem.

This is your 3rd attempt to make this into a smoker vs non smoker post. Read the original post and respond accordingly.

I am right on topic. We are discussing the wisdom of having the casino bar half smoking and half non-smoking and the signage used to enforce this policy. What do you think this thread is about?

I think the signs are there because most places in the world are now non smoking. It's much easier to designate the few areas where smoking is permitted with signage. I've never seen anyone coughing or gagging as they walk through the casino. That sounds like drama.

Most of my coughing following after a few hours (and a couple of nights) in the casino is usually during the night as I'm trying to sleep, or over the next day as my lungs try to expel the particulate.

I just accept that as part of the casino experience. Hopefully I won't fall victim to any second hand smoke aliments !

So don't walk past the casino. Problem solved. Or hack and cough as you walk past so the smokers can get a good chuckle. Your choice.

As a non smoker, I really like these signs. It leaves no question.

It tells the smokers where it is cool to light up, and it indicates to me that if I don't want to be a smoky environment, to stay away.

Win-win if you ask me.

I hope to see more of those around the ship.

If I can snag a few you just may. ;)

Don't steal them! They're needed to keep the peace at sea! HAHA

No, not steal. Just reallocate to create a few new smoking sections. See my previous post for a possible idea. :D

Edit to add: Really? Someone didn't like the thought of using one in the theater for a joke and had the post removed? Wow!
