jnh1 Posted August 17, 2015 #1 Share Posted August 17, 2015 Hello I have read through many posts and I'm still not clear on the ferry situation with Blue Lagoon. We are in port from 12 - 7. I see on the Blue Lagoon website that the last ferry is at 4, but then I read that some (?) cruises ship have their own ferry / transportation that they use based on your time in port. Can anyone confirm this? We will be on NCL Getaway. The excursion says it starts at 12:30 and is 5 hours long....so I would assume that there must be a separate ferry??? Appreciate any info! luvmy2kids Posted August 17, 2015 #2 Share Posted August 17, 2015 I'm curious about this too. I emailed Carnival about the Blue Lagoon excursion because its advertised as 6 hours but since its fairly new, there are only two reviews and both mention short time on the island. Carnival emailed that they don't use the "public" ferry so time on the island is approximately 4.5 hours. I'm wondering how accurate that is because of those two bad reviews. Hoping to hear from someone who has the real scoop. We sail in October.
jnh1 Posted August 18, 2015 Author #3 Share Posted August 18, 2015 I called NCL and spoke to someone about the excursions. He indicated that there would be a separate ferry that would depart at 5pm. So, this tour (on NCL) leaves at 12:30 and would get us back to ship at 5:30.
