Pride of America Question

Hi Fellow Cruisers....

Never been on NCL before and I know the Pride of America is a little different than other cruises but just wondering if there is a Formal Night?

Thank you in advance for any info. :D

Stephanie

Just like the rest of the NCL fleet, the POA has no truly formal night. You are free to dress up any night you wish. They will have a Norwegians Night Out or whatever they are calling it lately and some people will dress up more, but you probably won't see any tuxes or long gowns. And you will not be shut out of the MDR. Just take a look at the dress code on the website. It is Hawaii, also. So it tends to be even more casual than normal.

No.

There is a night where you can have pictures taken with the Captain, and people did tend to dress you a little more that night.

Also, if you are going to eat at Le Bistro, there is a requirement to dress up a little (not a lot)....

You will find the evenings on this cruise somewhat quiet compared to other cruises as is so port intensive, up early in the morning and long days make for early nights.

FYI there is no casino on board as gambling in the state of Hawaii is illegal.

Great cruise great ports!

I had a feeling it was not anything I had to worry about.... Although I am rather surprised in my other cruises that FORMAL nights have gone way to actually bathing and putting on pants which is a shame.... I enjoy a little pomp every once in awhile.

I am more excited about the ports as well so it is more like a floating hotel at this point. :p

Cheers!
