Germanuel Posted September 23, 2005 #1 Share Posted September 23, 2005 big hello from the other side of the atlantic with only a few weeks to go we`ll spend a night in miami and the next day we´ll catch our cruiseship in port everglades. our travelagent told us, we have to organize the transfer from downtown miami (hotel) to the pier by ourselves due to few passengers for a shuttle service. now my question: how much does a taxi ride approx. cost and how long is the distance (miles and minutes)? thanks in advance manuel
TrentS Posted September 23, 2005 #2 Share Posted September 23, 2005 Downtown Miami to Port Everglades is a 30-45 minute drive, much longer in rush "hour", or if there's an accident. A taxi would cost about $65-80, and be rather uncomfortable for that distance. You can get a limo for about the same cost. We use Larry's Limo... http://larryslimo.com/ Or Tri-County... http://www.floridalimo.com/
Tradizney Posted September 27, 2005 #3 Share Posted September 27, 2005 We did Share a cab- where taxi's are and it cost us I think $10 per person.
Germanuel Posted October 7, 2005 Author #4 Share Posted October 7, 2005 Thank you all very much for the help. Hotel Radisson Downtown Miami now organises a shuttle service for 65$ (two persons) to Port Everglades. That should be fine for us!
