Carnival Freedom - Internet Access

Hi everyone,

 

We will be sailing on September 19th on the Carnival Freedom, and we were wanting to look into the basic internet access that Carnival now offers for $5 a day. Has anyone used this on the Freedom, and is this cheaper data plan now available on this ship? We tried to see if we could add it to our package online, but all it says is that it's available. I'm assuming we are to sign up for access on board?

So that's $60 the whole trip, or $60 a day? I saw a low new rate they rolled out for social media at $5 a day but that could be wrong.

Yes, the Freedom offers the new Social Media Wi-Fi package. The cost is $5/day or $25/cruise for access to select social media apps and websites via WiFi. Sites that are included are: Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, iMessage, Pinterest, LinkedIn, Facebook messenger, what'sapp and snapchat.
