cowboygene Posted August 27, 2015 #1 Share Posted August 27, 2015 notified that NCL has credited our account with $50 each for our Latitude points. Are there any restrictions on spending this money...does it have to be used for onboard purchases or can we apply it towards an excursion. Thanks

LrgPizza Posted August 27, 2015 #3 Share Posted August 27, 2015 It can be used for anything (merchandise, dining, drinks, late night in kids club, future cruise rewards, excursions, bingo, etc.) except it can't be used for your service charges. That is the only exclusion.

TrumpyNor Posted August 27, 2015 #5 Share Posted August 27, 2015 (edited) We usually have some OBC when we cruise - anywhere between $50 and $300, and I must admit that I NEVER think about that it is used towards something special. It is just deducted from the amount I have "accumulated" (drinks, specialty restaurants, photos, gift shop, excursions, spa, etc.) on my on board account, so that my final bill is smaller than it would be without the OBC... Even if I had both the UDP and the UBP it would be no problem spending my OBC anyway... Edited August 27, 2015 by TrumpyNor
