oscarshep Posted August 31, 2015 #1 Share Posted August 31, 2015 Sailing on Majesty on 11th September and would be obliged if anyone was able to offer their reviews, comments on the menu at Le Bistro. We know there is a cover charge so it would have to be worth the extra as we are cheapskates haha. Seriously, I`ve looked for menus but the only ones I did find were a few years old. It would be brill if someone was able to upload the menu here but if not all comments would be much appreciated.
alli234 Posted September 4, 2015 #2 Share Posted September 4, 2015 We used this restaurant two years ago and enjoyed it thought it was well worth the money. We tried to book again but was fully booked, so you need to book as soon as possible.:)
McDream12 Posted September 4, 2015 #3 Share Posted September 4, 2015 Hi oscarshep We were on in July and ate there on one of the formal nights. The food and service was excellent and between the five of us we seem to recall the following. Starters - Escargot (Garlic Snails), Wild Mushroom Soup in a bread cob, fruit salad Mains - T Bone steak, Lamb Shank, Surf & Turf (King Prawn not scampi) Beef Wellington Deserts - sorry but we all had the special chocolate Brownie. Appetisers and sides - Orange sorbet, spicy prawns and a selection of sweets. It was a bit of a marathon of courses and lasted nearly three hours but well worth the £20. Langtoncouple Posted September 13, 2015 #5 Share Posted September 13, 2015 You also get an little additional starter just until your ones arrives (an amuse bouche) AND a sorbet just before the main course to "cleanse your palate". I think you also get petits fours after the dessert but I may be wrong.
