Miss Dot Posted September 2, 2015 #1 Share Posted September 2, 2015 This will be our first time driving instead of flying to Port Everglades. What is the best option for parking? Taking into account safety of vehicle & cost!
SuiteTraveler Posted September 2, 2015 #2 Share Posted September 2, 2015 You choices are: Park at the Port http://www.porteverglades.net/cruising/parking/ Park in a parking lot off the port http://premierparkingusa.com/cruise-parking/port-everglades?_vsrefdom=adwords&gclid=Cj0KEQjwvJqvBRCL77m2-uKczsIBEiQAkx8VjNRVr43jbJxhSr3Up23OhFmnbziDQA8N7tGP4H69mfkaAvge8P8HAQ get a sleep, park and cruise package at a hotel: http://traveltips.usatoday.com/hotels-cruise-parking-packages-near-fort-lauderdale-61493.html Pick whatever is best for you. dorisis Posted September 2, 2015 #3 Share Posted September 2, 2015 Your best bet is to stay the night before the cruise in a park and cruise hotel. Some have free parking and some have free shuttles to the port. You can check out the forum on ports here on CC. It often costs less to do this than to park at the port. OCruisers Posted September 3, 2015 #5 Share Posted September 3, 2015 We've been parking at the cruise terminal parking of years and have found it to be so very easy and convenient. :)
Trainer Posted September 3, 2015 #6 Share Posted September 3, 2015 I have used Park N Fly (PNF.com) at Port Everglades many times. Good prices, good service, very close to port. When you reserve, make certain you select Port not airport. I have another reservation for my cruise in November.

We've had reservations at the hotel we usually stay for months but at well over $200./ night we are canceling

DocF Posted September 3, 2015 #10 Share Posted September 3, 2015 We use Park 'N Fly at Port Everglades. Usually, their shuttle will have us to the cruise terminal in less than half an hour after we park. Reservations and prepay are, if not absolutely necessary, very much suggested by this user.
