Libertarian Posted September 4, 2015 #1 Share Posted September 4, 2015 We are booked for cruise in November. Our port time is 7-5 pm. My question is since there is no set meeting time or ending time because of tendering. Can anyone tell me when you got back?We are trying to see if we have time for shopping afterwards. hopeful2 Posted September 5, 2015 #2 Share Posted September 5, 2015 We would of had time to look around abit but we decided to get back on the ship before everyone else plus we had dinner early. You will have a great time.
Donfairview2001 Posted October 13, 2015 #3 Share Posted October 13, 2015 We did tubing ATV and ziplining and they got us back with 45 min to spare
Rare skittl1321 Posted October 14, 2015 #4 Share Posted October 14, 2015 We were off the ship ASAP (first tender for people without cruise ship excursions) and .bz got us back a bit after 4:00; last tender was 4:15. Of course, the line was such that we didn't get on a tender until 4:40... So I would say there wasn't time for shopping, although, there was really no reason to stand in line, and as long as you kept watch of it, you could shop instead of be in the line. Libertarian Posted October 14, 2015 Author #5 Share Posted October 14, 2015 What time were you off the ship?So is the excursion longer then 5 hours?
Rare skittl1321 Posted October 14, 2015 #6 Share Posted October 14, 2015 I don't know the exact time, but estimating I would think our excursion lasted 6+ hours. My guess is they would fill the time they have. So I wouldn't count on it just being 5 hours. The ride back was insane speeding/tailgating/passing etc. The ride there was leisurely, so I think if we weren't in a hurry to get back, they'd drive closer to the speed limit. We had a very rushed 20 minutes for lunch; if we had more time, we probably would be more leisurely for lunch. And when the water wasn't moving fast, they would pull us along- again, I think you'd float a bit slower and have the guides pull less if there was more time.
