(Tea) At the Risk of Sounding Like a Snob

I love brewed ice tea, but hate instant ice tea. Obviously tea that comes out of the soda machine on the lido deck is instant, but do they serve the same tea in the MDR? I'd rather not find out when I order it if I can.

I'm not a snob really. Okay maybe a little bit of a snob. lol

My advice is to give the iced tea in the dining room a try.

I know it comes from the same machine, but somehow it tastes better than the glasses filled directly from the dispenser.

I don't know, maybe it has something to do with being decanted into a pitcher.

Adds oxygen? Gives it time to meld? I don't know...

I have found that diluting what they serve with water can turn it into a drinkable cold beverage - but they still shouldn't be allowed to call it iced tea.

I turn the Lido iced tea into an Arnie Palmer by adding lemonade.

Carnival has a wooden tea chest in the Lido areas that has a selection of Bigelow tea bags (Earl Grey, Darjeeling, English Breakfast, Lemon, Chamomile, Green tea). They will bring the wooden tea chest in the Dining room if you request it. If ordering from room service they bring Lipton tea bag I believe.
