cruisexlife Posted September 7, 2015 #1 Share Posted September 7, 2015 Hello, I am interested in Breakaway's December 11-13 Nowhere cruise. Never tried one, want to get on one before they are no longer allowed. Also, my birthday is the week before and I want to go with some friends on a birthday cruise. But the cheapest right now is $719 per person. While it may be a mini-suite, for two days I can't justify that. Do you think there is a chance that someone may have to cancel, or if any travel agents have rooms left, or if NCL holds some back? Could be the worst room on the ship just looking for a place to crash. Thank you so much for any help you can give me! :D
hawkeyetlse Posted September 7, 2015 #2 Share Posted September 7, 2015 Final payment and the beginning of the cancellation penalty period for this cruise is October 12 (60 days out). So you might see some cancellations around then.
Gershep Posted September 7, 2015 #3 Share Posted September 7, 2015 It can't hurt to call NCL. I was looking for specific rooms on my next cruise and they weren't showing on the NCL website but when I called my PC they had the rooms available. I agree with you that $719 is crazy but demand is high so prices will be.
swedish weave Posted September 7, 2015 #4 Share Posted September 7, 2015 One of the on-line TA's has the 7 day starting 12/13 for less money.
Rare www3traveler Posted September 7, 2015 #5 Share Posted September 7, 2015 This is the last year that the Cruise To Nowhere will be allowed, so I would doubt if the availability or the price will change much.
