MaiTaiMary Posted September 8, 2015 #1 Share Posted September 8, 2015 Does the sports court on the Breeze ever convert to an "indoor soccer field"? With goals and a soccer ball?
NoLandInSight! Posted September 8, 2015 #2 Share Posted September 8, 2015 They did in March of 2014. My son played in an ongoing tournament they had and enjoyed it quite a bit.

Oh, this is great! Thanks! :D Anybody know if they do this regularly on the Breeze?
jcearth Posted September 29, 2015 #6 Share Posted September 29, 2015 Last week when we were there they were playing half court basketball on one side and had soccer nets set up on the other side. I am not sure if it stayed like that all the time, but that was what we saw when we went there.

surfjock27 Posted November 3, 2015 #8 Share Posted November 3, 2015 I'm not sure about moving the sports square to the atrium, as the atrium seems too small with the bar and seating areas. Having cruised the Breeze times (4th next month), I know that there is a soccer/basketball court on the sports deck. It's not inside, but is enclosed by a screen/net. Here is a picture. I hope this helps. :)
MaiTaiMary Posted November 3, 2015 Author #9 Share Posted November 3, 2015 "indoor" soccer just refers to a field that is enclosed and much smaller than a traditional outdoor field. Here in Southern California where the weather is nice year round, all of our indoor fields are actually outdoors. It's just the type of field. It was quite popular.

Indoor soccer is a little different in Winnipeg...our indoor facilities are full sized soccer fields. Indoor season for us runs from October to March.
