Chips and Salsa on Sunshine

We enjoy chips and salsa and have heard that they do not have chips at the Cantina. Can anyone tell me if we need bring our own chips.

I'd bring my own since I wouldn't be crazy about sharing a bowl with someone licking their fingers and dipping into the bowl.

Bring your own! They don't have tortilla chips as far as I know

Bring your own, the do not have any tortilla chips or even crunchy taco shells.

 

Keep in mind how windy it is on the Lido.

I wish they would add them to the menu, as I love chips and salsa and they have such good salsas. :(

Fresh salsa can be fairly expensive to make, and bowls for dipping chips can produce a lot of waste. I would bet that in addition to chips being tough to keep fresh in the sea air, they don't offer them specifically so people don't use the salsas as a dip- but as a topping.

I've heard so much good commentary on the salsa, I am definitely getting the thin crispy tortilla chips from costo .... the BIG bag and taking that along on my upcoming cruise! I'll bring a few baggies and just take a baggie full with us when we go to eat at the Cantina!

I can't speak for Sunshine, but on Pride and Freedom the size of the salsa containers was limited. Definitely designed to be a topping for the tacos and burritos served.

Sunshine did not have tortilla chips the last time we were on there. They have a huge salsa bar and no chips. It can't be because of the humidity since other ships have them on the buffet with the burgers etc that is outside.

Or run out and/or leave them empty. They weren't designed or intended for major snacking.

Pringles makes tortilla chips now. They won't get crushed in the cans when you pack.

It's easy, Take an itinerary that stops at Half Moon Cay. Rent a cabana and bring back the left over chips. No problem! :D

There was a late night chips and salsa bar at the Blue Iguana Cantina this week on the Liberty! They should do this for a few nights during each sailing. They had about 4 different types of chips to go with their salsa.
